Quinte SailAbility is a sailing school for people with a disability.

Our Story

What we are

Quinte SailAbility is a sailing school for persons with a physical or intellectual disability, regardless of age or degree of disability. Our goal is to be accessible, active and affordable. Through the use of technology, barriers are eliminated, providing the therapeutic benefits of sailing on one’s own.  Our staff, volunteers and students will be contributing to this blog, mostly during our operating season of July and August.

We opened in 2001 and are members of Ontario Sailing Association ,Canadian Yachting Association and the Able Sail Network.

This is a wonderful program that brings a smile to the faces of everyone involved – it also enables everyone to give from within, explore who they are and develop life skills while having a lot of fun.
